After writing/demoing material in 1987 and 1988, the band started to play more shows in the New York City area. This eventually attracted the attention of Mechanic Records, which signed the band to a multi-album deal on June 23, 1988. The album titled ‘When Dream and Day Unite’ was released in 1989.
